Learning Styles Assessment
The Learning Styles Assessment (LSA) assess how much learners rely on Visual (sight), Auditory (hearing) and Kinaesthetic (other senses that include touch, movement, position in space and tactical experiences) to perceive or make sense of information (or learn).
The LSA assesses if the learner is:
Visual
Auditory
Kinaesthetic
When we learn or gather information about the world that we live in (including study), we involve all our senses. Each of us have our own unique way of thinking, and consequently develop our own unique way or method of learning, based on how we have come to use our senses. Some of us employ one sense more than others, resulting in our developing learning style preferences, based on our patterned predominant use of particular senses. It is important for learners to understand their predominant learning style(s) in order for them to adapt their learning and environment accordingly.
